Got Questions?

You Asked, We Answered

The amount of Lawsonia Inermis (Henna) in SHAIVRA™ Hair Mask is minimal and used for its scalp-nourishing properties, not as a coloring agent. At this concentration, it does not impart color to the hair. However, if you have very light-colored, blonde, or heavily highlighted hair, we recommend doing a small patch test on a
few strands before full application, as individual responses can vary.

The nourishment from SHAIVRA™ comes from 23 botanical herbs working together — not silicones or
coating agents. The softness you feel is real nourishment, not a surface finish. It builds progressively with regular weekly use.

Soaking activates the herbs, allows the flaxseed and other botanicals to develop their natural
binding properties, and creates a richer, smoother paste that applies more evenly and absorbs more effectively. It is worth the preparation.

In Ayurvedic
tradition, soaking herbs in iron vessels is believed to enhance their
therapeutic potency through the trace interaction of iron with the botanical
ingredients. It is a traditional practice — not a requirement. A regular bowl
delivers the full herbal benefit.

Yes. Store-bought plain
yogurt works as a substitute for fresh curd. Avoid flavored or sweetened
variants. Fresh curd, however, gives the best result.

We recommend avoiding
shampoo on the same day to allow the herbs to continue nourishing the scalp
after rinsing. You can shampoo the following morning if needed.

Yes. The formulation is gentle and botanical. However, if you have light-colored or highlighted hair, please
refer to the henna note above and do a strand test first.

Once weekly is the ideal frequency for most hair types. Using it more frequently is unlikely to cause harm, but the herbs work best when given time between applications to deliver their full benefit.

With once-weekly use, a standard pack typically lasts 6–8 weeks depending on hair length and thickness.

Absolutely. SHAIVRA™ Hair Mask is suitable for all genders and all hair types.
